We booked The Heights as our first port of call into Kerala. We had requested an airport pick up, which didn't arrive, so we had to take a taxi. On arrival there was no apology. We had booked deluxe rooms, which were a big disappointment. The rooms were not very clean and were not like the photographs on the website. There was no tea/coffee facilities, no towels, no toilet roll. After complaining, we were moved to suites, which although slightly better and a bit cleaner could not be described ascomfortable and were very damp. The "picnic area" is nothing more than large very dirty tiled area which was uninviting. We did not use the pool at all. After seeing the state of the rooms we thought the pool might not be safe. It had lots of broken tiles and didn't look very clean. The only good thing to say about The Heights is that the staff there are fantastic (not the management). They were so helpful and genuinely nice people. It's such a shame that their talents are wasted in this place. I should add that this was not our first time in India. We have travelled to India for holidays on 6 previous occasions and have also visited several times for business so we don't have unreasonable expectations. Such a shame because the heights does have the potential to be a good place to stay with the right management in place.

I was so excited about staying here , but pictures do not match what you get. Rooms very damp and dirty, had to change rooms, still damp , even the bed . No hot water for shower , only about a minute worth . Poll was damaged and dirty , obviously not cleaned or maintained. Young staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for us Think the owner/ manager needs to take note and listen to people . Views were amazing , would not go back

Worst service from the hotel authorities. They do not match with your words . Poor behavior poor hospitality., Very bad pool, and room not good. Photos and actual room not matching.total very disappointed.

Very bad experience, not worthy for money, pool and room not maintained, first time watching frogs near pool. Bathroom also not good. Management send photos of good room and but giving bad room. Totaly not worthy.

The hotel had all modern facilities ,well staffed and the staff were so helpful , we stand in awe of their service , they went beyond their call to make our stay comfortable,we were a family group of 40 plus members ! The views from the hotel were just at par, but the acess to all near by tourist locations was great ! If you don't want the town feel,then this is the place
